Deep Black refers to a TV’s ability to show very dark black levels instead of grayish tones.
This makes movies look more cinematic, with sharper contrast between shadows and bright highlights.
OLED TVs are especially good at producing deep blacks because they can turn off individual pixels completely, unlike LED TVs that rely on backlights.
