YCbCr

YCbCr is a color format used in video signals where the picture is split into brightness (Y) and color information (Cb for blue, Cr for red).

This format reduces the amount of color data needed without lowering picture quality, making video files smaller and easier to transmit.

For example, HDMI often sends video in YCbCr to balance efficiency and good image quality, especially for 4K content.
