576p

576p is a video resolution with 576 lines of vertical pixels, often called Standard Definition (SD).

It is common in older DVDs and some free-to-air TV broadcasts, especially for local channels that don’t yet transmit in HD.

Compared to 720p or 1080p, 576p looks less sharp, but it requires less bandwidth, making it easier to stream or broadcast where internet or signal strength is limited.

On larger TVs, 576p content may appear blurry, but on smaller screens it still looks acceptable.
